Freckled Blue-tongued Lizard likes to rest on There are various different environments between plains, grasslands and forests, belonging to the terrestrial type.
The total length of the Freckled Blue Tongue Lizard is 45-60 cm, and the front scales on the head side are more slender than the rest of the scales on the back. There are 1-2 rows of huge scales from the scales on the head to the scales on the body. There is no difference in appearance between the eastern and northern lizards. The only difference is whether there are black vertical stripes behind the eyes (the eastern oblique blue-tongued lizard has black vertical stripes). This species has been included in the "List of Terrestrial Wild Animals Protected by the State that Are Beneficial or of Important Economic or Scientific Research Value" promulgated by the State Forestry Administration of China on August 1, 2000.
