Neon swallows
The body color of neon swallows is very special, and Neon swallows are petite. Adult neon swallows are only two inches long, which is six centimeters. Therefore, raising neon swallows does not require a very large aquarium. An ordinary round glass goldfish tank (definitely introduced) is suitable. Might as well.
The base color of both sexes of neon swallow fish is yellow-green, and the lower abdomen of the male fish will show a bright and beautiful yellow. The fins and anal fins of other male fish are transparent and have a slight yellow border. The pectoral fins and pelvic fins are often slightly orange-red. The tail fin is slightly darker with obvious left and right yellow and narrow black edges. Neon swallows are petite, only two inches, or six centimeters, long in adulthood. Therefore, as long as you have a traditional round glass goldfish tank, you can keep them. Of course, if you set up a large fish tank and place aquatic plants, sand and stones, their black and bright yellow shapes can be more fully displayed.
Neon swallows will mature after 5 months of growth. The lower abdomen of the male fish will appear bright yellow, and its dorsal fin, tail fin and other appendage fins will also be bright yellow or orange. At the same time, there is a black border on the left and right edges of the dorsal fin; the female fish is very similar to the male fish in appearance, but the body color is not as bright yellow as the male fish, and is darker.
